Analysis of Interaction of Space Multistory Frame and Grillage Foundation Beams Resting on Elastic Soil

In this paper, the interaction of space multistory frame and grillage foundation beams resting on elastic soil has been analyzed, and an equivalent shear type structure is proposed to replace the space frame. The mathematical model of interactive analysis has been assumed as grillage "shear-bending beams" resting on E.Winkler's soil.Two simplified methods are presented in this paper, one being the force method, in which the displacements of "shear-bending beams" are expressed by initial parameters; the other being the energy variational method, in which the displacement functions adopted satisfy the prescribed boundary conditions.
