The Experimental Study of the Behavior of a Two-Bay Three-Story R.C. Frame under Cyclic Loading

The cyclic loading test of an one half scale two-bay three-story reinforced concrete frame has been carried out. The test verifies the earthquake resistant design method of frame joint suggested by this research group. The investigation and analysis of the failure mechanism,strength, ductility, relation between strong column and weak beam, restoring force property as well as beam bar slip effect of reinforced concrete frame with strong columns and weak beams have been conducted and discussed.
