OPTIMIZATION OF NEW AEROGEL ENERGY-SAVING GLASS SUNSHADE IN REGION WITH HOT SUMMER AND WARM WINTER

The library of Guangzhou University is taken as an example to calculate the building air-conditioning cooling load subentry of five kinds of glass, such as transparent glass, hollow glass and aerogel glass, etc., by using integrated building performance simulation analysis software IES VE . The calculation results indicate that the cooling load formed by solar gain of glass is one of the biggest subentries in total cooling load. It means that glass sunshade performance is the main factor affecting air-conditioning cooling load in region with hot summer and warm winter. After theoretical analysis on the glass shading coefficient and transmittivity of glass against infrared and visible light, it is shown that reduction of infrared transmittivity of glass is an effective way to reduce glass shading coefficient and building air-conditioning cooling load.
