Research on Hollow Steel Tube Columns Filled with Steel-Reinforced Concrete Subjected to Axial-Compression

YAO Guo-huang,SUN Su-wen,LI Xiu-ming(China Construction(ShenZhen) Design International,Shenzhen 518033,China)  
Based on rational constitutive model of steel and core concrete,load-deformation relationship curves of hollow steel tube columns filled with steel-reinforced concrete subjected to axial-compression are simulated by the ABAQUS software,and the simulated curves agree well with the experimental results.With referring previous research achievements,a simplified method to predict the load-bearing capacity of hollow steel tube columns filled with steel-reinforced concrete subjected to axial-compression is proposed,which is demonstrated to have acceptable accuracy.
