Study on Evaluation Method of Alkali Reactivity on the Highly Active Slate

In the standard of JGJ 52-2006,evaluation of alkali reactivity adopted ordinary portland cement which met the existing national standards,but in the GB 175-2007 it raised the ceiling of admixture to 20%.In order to test the effectiveness of the evaluation methods of alkali reactivity in JGJ 52 and the reproducibility of the results,we used different admixtures to test the slate of highly active expansion.The results show that different kinds and different contents of admixture have a great influence on the results of the evaluation of alkali reactivity.Ordinary portland cement for should not be used evaluation of alkali reactivity.
