Determination Method of Ventilation Rate in Underground Parking Garages Based on Box Model of Overall Ventilation

Based on mass balance law of overall ventilation and box model for mass balance equation of indoor air pollutants, the emissions of CO from automobiles in underground garage were calculated with the assumption that the car lane is taken as linear pollutant source. The dynamic formula for calculating the ventilation rate was deduced. The method was validated with apractical project. It was shown that this method can reflect the dynamic change of ventilation rate in underground parking garage, compared with the traditional methods, which indicated that this method and its structure are correct and can be used to calculate the ventilation rate with the aim of energy-saving correctly and conveniently. The experimental test and the theoretical analysis method proposed are simple, and can be applied in practice.
