Comprehensive Landscape:Approaches to the Integral Frame of Landscape Planning and Design

Comprehensive landscape planning and design empha-sizes the organic connection between regional planning, city planningand urban design, and stresses the continuity of working process. Giv-ing an account of the subject by example, this paper predicts that thefollowing projects in Chinese urbanization will become important itemsin future landscape planning: regional landscape ecology planning,large mix-use development, urban open space, community planning anddesign,urban parks and entertainment, resorts and hotels.
