Research on the Relationship Between Quantitative Distribution of ~3H-Icariin and the Meridian Affinity

JH3,D; ,Z icarrin was used as a tracer agent and injected into mice by the caudal vein. In 48 hours,the contents of the tracer agent of 405 samples involving 9 different tracing phases and 15 kinds of organ or tissue were determined in order to observe the dynamic quantitative distribution and excretion of JH3,D; ,Z icariin and to understand the meridian affinity of the TCM drug epimedium.The results showed that the contents of JH3,D; ,Z icariin of same organs in different tracing phases and the contents of JH3,D; ,Z icariin in same tracing phases of different organs were significantly different( P 0 001).JH3,D; ,Z icariin was mainly distributed in the liver,adrenal gland, small intestine,kidney and bronchus.The authors hold that the above mentioned selective distribution of JH3,D; ,Z icariin basically coincides with the meridian affinity and zang fu selection of the TCM drug epimedium.
