The Interaction of Five Chinese Herbs Flavones on the Apoptosis of Vascular Smooth Muscle

Stimulating the vascular smooth muscle cell with IL-1 as the pattern, according to the direct test design to determine the research project, discuss the interaction of Puerarin, Icariin, Baicalin, Hesperidose, Typhaneoside on apoptosis of the proliferated vascular smooth muscle. The result showed the relationship of the rate of apoptosis to the concentrations of the herbs was as followed: Y=12.07-5.24×10 -4 B+0.11G+9.60×10 -7 AD-5.09×10 -7 BF-2.20×104EG(G as time, Y as the rate of apoptosis). From this, it could be seen that the puerarin and icariin could promote the apoptosis of the proliferated vascular smooth muscle and the synergism was obvious. The verification test also indicated the puerarin(10 -7 mol/L) could promote the apoptosis and the rate was 17.0%.
