Study on Analgesia and Anti-inflammatory Effects of Three Breeds of Radix Angelicae Pubescentis from Gansu Province.

Objective To study on analgesia and anti-inflammatory effects of Angelica pubescens Maxim.f.biserrata,Heracleum hemsleyanum and Araliae cordatae from Gansu province.Methods Analgesia and anti-inflammatory effect were induced by mouse hot plate,acetic acid stretching experiment and mouse peritonitis,mouse ear swelling model.Results Angelica pubescens Maxim.f.biserrata Shan et Yuan and Araliae cordatae Thunb were showed obviously anti-inflammatory effects.The three Chinese herbs had remarkable analgesia effect to be induced acetic acid,among them Angelica pubescens Maxim.f.biserrata showed the best analgesia effect.Conclusions Among them Angelica pubescens Maxim.f.biserrata Shan et Yuan showed that have the best analgesia and anti-inflammatory effect,but Heracleum hemsleyanum Michaux had no anti-inflammatory effects.
