A Taxonomic Study on the Genus Geisha Kirkaldy (Hemiptera: Flatidae) from China

The present paper deals with four species of the genus Geisha Kirkaldy from China, of which two are new to science, i. e., G. bifurcata, sp. nov. and G. qinlingensis, sp. nov. A key to species of the genus is provided. All the specimensare kept in the Entomological Museum of the Northwest Sci-Tech University of Agriculture and Forestry. 1. Geisha bifurcata, sp. nov. (Fig. 1) This new species resembles Geisha fangi Medler, but differs from the latter in: 1) hind tibia with 8 teeth at apex, spinal formula of hind leg 2-8-9, the latter2-7-8; 2) the structure of male genitalia. Holotype:♂, Jiuxian Mountain, Fujian Province, 28-Ⅶ-1974, coll. WANG Si-zheng; Paratypes: 1♂1♀, same data as holotype. 4. Geisha qinlingeinsis, sp. nov. (Fig. 2) This new species is similar to Geisha bifurcata, but differs from the latter in: 1) the larger body size; 2) vein Cu1 of tegmen not merging with M2 but extending to apical margin; 3) the middle of anal segment expanding to sphericity; 4) the posterior margin of pygofer strongly concave medially.
