The Thrips-attacking Genus Ceranisus (Hymenoptera:Eulophidae:Entedoninae) from Iran

Three thrips-attacking parasitoids,Ceranisus menes(Walker,1839),C.planitianus Erds,1966 and C.amanosus Doganlar et al.,2009,are recorded from Iran for the first time.This also represents the first record of the genus Ceranisus Walker,1841 for Iran.Identification of the two sibling species,C.amanosus Doganlar et al.,2009 and C.udnamtak Tryapitsin,2005,is briefly discussed.
