Application of Synthesis Electrical Prospecting in Earthquake Safety Evaluation of Engineering Site

This article discusses the demand of geophysical prospecting in earthquake safety evaluation of engineering site and illustrates the application of synthesis electrical prospecting to the selection of engineering site,evaluation of site engineering earthquake conditions and the detection of buried fault.The cases show that the synthesis electrical prospecting comprehensively utilizes the abundant information of high-density resistivity survey and directly shows abnormal body of composite profile and is favorable for data interpretation.It is nondestructive,low-cost and quick-constructed,and it is valued in earthquake safety evaluation work.
