STUDY ON THE APPLICATION OF ENTOMOPATHOGENIC NEMATODES AGAINST COSSUS COSSUS L.

The result showed that the Agriotos strain of Steinernema carpocapsae had the highest infec-tivity against poplar goat moth (Cossus cossus L. ) through laboratory and field trials. The viru-lence of the Agriotos strain reduced with the increase of the larval instars mortality increased with the increase of dosage in 1000-5000 larvae/ml. The best infectivety was obtained at 25℃. The control offect of Agriotos strain at 5000 larvae/ml was better than that of dichlorvos in the for-est.
