The present article includes the descriptions of 2 new genera, three new species and two new combinations of Protura, one genus belonging to the family Hesperen-tomidae,while the other belonging to Eosentomidae. All the specimens used in this paper were collected from Shanghai and Soochow, during 1963 to 1973.1.A new genus of Hesperentomidae, with a brief rivision of the entire familyHuhentomon,gen.nov.Abdominal appendage P Ⅰ 2-segmented,P Ⅱ-Ⅲ1-segmented.Pseudoculus elongated oval, with thick rim and a long median S-shaped opening.Filamento de sostigno of maxilla long and simple. Each of the posterior row of setae on S Ⅳ-Ⅶ has a central seta. There are two rows of 6 setae on S Ⅷ.Mouth parts and sensillae of foretarsus are similar to those of Hesperentomon, while the squama, genitales are close to Acerentulus.Huhentomom plicatunguis Yin,sp.nov.Total length 1,015-1,276μ,head 128-130μ×90-102μ Pseudoculus 16×8μ,PR=8.Poretarsus 85μ long, claw 25.6μ long,TR=3.3.3-4 oblique foldings on the middle and proximal parts of the claw, several scaly decorations scattered on the ventral surface of the foretarsus.Empodium very short,EU=0.06-0.07.BS=0.45.First abdominal appendage 2-segmented,with 4 setae.Second and third abdominal appendages only 1-segmented,each with 3 setae.Comb on abdomen T Ⅷ consists of about 5-6 teeth, and 2-3 irregular rows of pectinated stuetures can be found along the posterior margin of S Ⅷ.Mature junior and the 1st and 2nd larvae are also recorded.Holotype:She-Shan,Shanghai,8-IX-1965.Allotype:Ibid.As was mentioned in the previous part,it is,however, very remarkable in many features of Huhentomon plicatunguis, such as the mouth parts, the pseudoculus and the sensillae of the foretarsus are very similar to those of Hesperentainon macswaini on one hand, but in some other features, such as the abdominal appendages, the setae on S Ⅷ as well as the squama genitales are closely related to Acerentulus. These facts are strongly proved that the present new genus Huhentomon might be considered as a link between Hesperentomidae and Acerentomidae.Comparisicn was made with all the genera and species of the family Hesperentomidae, that the one from Japan,Hinomotentomon nipponicum, can be easily distinguished from that reported from Europe and America,in having a simple pseudoculus with triangular prolongation and heart-shaped calyx on filamento de sostigno of maxilla. In view of the morphological diversity between Hesperentomon macswaini,H..tianshanicum and the three European species, which have shown in the table 2,there should be little hesitation to separate them into two genera. The generic name,.lonescuettum, for the European species which was erected by Tuxen 1960,should be retained. In 1963 Tuxen lowered the rank of this family to subfamily of Protentomidae according mainly to the labile character of the shape of the abdominal appendages of" the two European species.Since H.nipponicum,I.silvaticum and the peculiar species H.plicatunguis have been found one after another,it is clearly to show that a successive serial reduction of the segmentation of the abdominal appendages from Hesperentomon, via lonescuellum to Huhentomon. It is,however, very likely that the reduction of segmentation of the abdominal appendages seems along a parallel line as.that of the eosentomoids.According to the facts discussed above, this group of pro-turans is possibly a form derived from an ancestral stock between Fujientomon and Condeettum. Therefore,it may be exactly to fill up the blank on the right side of Protentomidae and underneath the family Acerentomidae,on the schematic picture of the-phylogenitic relationship of Protura which was suggested by the present author in 1974. The author has attempting to raise this group again to the family rank, and for all the genera are revised under new light.2.A new genus of EosentomidaeAnisentomon,gen.nov.Type species:Anisentomon chinensis (Yin,1965) comb.nov.Spiracles very small.Exterior sensilla 'e' of foretarsus absent, but 'g' is stout and spatulated.Generally, there are 8 anterior setae on tergites Ⅱ-Ⅶ,and a pai
