On the Construction of a Powerful Country in Textbooks:Historical Mission,Landmark Achievements and Promotion Paths

The construction of textbooks is an important carrier to implement the basic task of moral cultivation,and an important way to serve the national strategy,reflect the will of the country,realize the state authority,and safeguard the national security.China has become a large country in textbooks serving students from primary schools all the way to universities,featuring large quantities,abundant categories,extensive coverage and a large number of readers.But it is not enough to support China to be a powerful country in education and realize the modernization of education.The construction of a powerful country in textbooks is a strategic support for a big country in education to develop into a powerful country in education,a basic project for implementing the fundamental tasks of moral cultivation,a powerful starting point for deepening the reform and innovation in education,and a key indicator for launching the satisfactory education for the people.To construct a powerful country in textbooks in the new era,it is necessary to demonstrate the ideology,enhance the scientific nature,reflect the distinctiveness of the national characteristics,embody the epochal character and coordinate the comprehensive system.In order to achieve these landmark accomplishments,we must grasp the fundamental basis,promote the system and mechanism innovation,strengthen the building of the professional teams and deepen the research foundation in the practice of the textbook construction.
