Mathematical Reasoning and Problem Solving Based on PISA2021 Mathematics Framework

Each publication of the PISA test results will attract worldwide attention,and governments and relevant education policy decision makers will adjust their related education policies based on the results.Before the formal test,OECD will publish the test framework in advance.Compared with the previous mathematics framework,the most significant change of the PISA2021 framework focuses on mathematical reasoning in the definition of mathematical competency and its relationship with problem solving.Through the analysis of PISA2021,it is found that mathematical reasoning includes deductive reasoning and inductive reasoning,which run through the entire process of problem solving.All mathematical activities revolve around mathematical reasoning.
