The Research on Finite Element Analysis of Truck Tire Based on Pro/E and ANSYS

In this paper,taken the material non-linearity,geometric non-linearity and contact non-linearity into account,a three-dimensional nonlinear finite element model for truck tire is constructed and used in this numerical study,the finite element reseach is accomplished for the heavy-duty vehicle tyres by means of software Pro/E and ANSYS according to finite element theory,the stress conditions and work performance are achieved for the tyres in a variety of working conditions,thus laying the foundation for the further dynamic contact analysis and structure optimal design for the heavy-huty vehicle tyres.
