The Research and the Simulation Method of Power System Fault Based on 0-1 Integer Program

Power system was a complex system, fault detection was a kind of important methods to ensure the reliable operation of system. The improved genetic algorithm was applied to the fault detection of power system, the problem can be converted to 0-1 integer programming problem. Some kinds of measures such as single point of fault completely initialized were taken to optimize algorithms, enhance the convergence performance. The absent information was estimated in the iterative process, getting the better detection effects. The results of numerical examples showed that the improved genetic algorithm had good ability to handle fault conditon and pragmatic value.
