Microscopic Characteristic and Its Influences on Reservoirs of Zhujiang Formation in Qionghai Bulge

According to the analytical techniques of rock thin sections, scanning electron micro-scope,image analysis, high- pressure mercury injection and regular physical property analysis from the Zhujiang formation of Qionghai Bulge. Petrology characteristic, pore structure characteristics, physical property analysis and the influence factors of reservoir property were analyzed. Research shows that the sandstone is mainly dominated by feldspar lithic quartz sandstone. The types of the pore are mainly primary pores, and secondary pores grow with the depth increasing. Pore throat characteristics are changed to small-medium pore- finer- medium throats 3 x from small-micro pore- fine-micro fine throats. It is clear that the reservoir physical differences are mainly caused by the sedimentary factors.The reservoir in the study area is divided into three categories based on the reservoir characteristics and pore structure.
