A new nonequilibrium numerical method and simulation of oscillating shock-induced combustion

LIU Jun (Institute of Aerospace and Material Enginerring,National University Defence Technology, Changsha, 410073,China)  
A new uncoupled method was introduced to simulate numerically nonequilibrium f low which had the stiffness problem. The flow of H2/Air mixture ignited by a blund body shock was simulated with the method, based on NS equations and ENO scheme, with 9 species and 19 reactions chemical mechanism. The phenomenon of os cillating shockinduced combustion obtained by computation indicated that the m ethod had high accuracy in time and spatial. The application of the method was simple in structure and efficient for modifying to multicomponent and multi reaction chemical mechanism. 
