Evaluation of occlusal configuration on strain at supporting bone in implant prostheses

Objective: To investigate the different cuspal inlination design on different masticator forces transferred to implant prostheses and the supporting bone. Methods: The implant prosthesis and the supporting bone models under the different cusped that were 30 degree, 20 degree and 0 degree occlusal, registered simulate mastication movement and the load needing and the meet an emergency. Results: The cusp inlination were bigger, the force and strain on implant prostheses were higher. Conclusion: The cusp angulation of implant prostheses plays significant role in force transmission and strain in bone.
