Disposal of Vanadium-containing Wastewater from Orimulsion-fired Power Plant by FeSO_4 Reduction and Coagulation

The vanadium-containing wastewater from Zhanjiang Orimulsion Power Plant contains a variety of heavy metals.The test results show that under the condition of pH of 2 to 4 and by using FeSO4 reduction and coagulation under the alkaline condition,the removal rate of vanadium can reach 99 percent or more,with the remains of vanadium being less than 1 mg/L.
