Research Status and Prospection of Structure Vibration Control for Civil Engineering

Vibration control of civil engineering structure is a new topic in the field of engineering structure and has important practical significance for reducing earthquake disasters effectively.This paper describes the basic concepts,basic principles and classification of the vibration control.On the basis of the latest achievements at home and abroad,the paper introduces the basic concepts and basic principles of four latest control technologies,active control,semi-active control,hybrid control and intelligent control in detail,and puts forward a comparison of the four technologies.Finally,the paper proposes the prospect of structural vibration control in civil engineering so as to point out the direction for future research.
