Three-dimensional Local Stability Evaluation of Landslide

At present landslide stability study mainly takes the whole landslide as the research object,but for most of landslides,especially large and super-large landslides,the instability failure begins with local landslide.Therefore,it is necessary to study landslide from the local angle.This paper adopts the unit safety method and uses FLAC3 Dnumerical simulation software to calculate safety coefficient of each unit of the landslide,and obtains the stability coefficient distribution map of each part of the landslide,then verifies the three-dimensional local stability evaluation results of the landslide according to landslide macroscopic deformation and professional monitoring results of surface displacement.The results show that the three-dimensional local stability evaluation results agree with the other two;overall,the landslide is stable at present,but its front will be instable under continuous action of rainfall and reservoir water.
