Strategic study on framework of electric vehicle subsidy policies

It is well known that the progress of electric vehicles(EVs) will be of great social economic and environmental benefits,however the promotion of EVs is facing many difficulties in the current stage.The subsidy policies for EVs will alleviate effectively the limitations in technique and insufficient infrastructures,and accelerate the development of EV industry.Unfortunately,the policies in operation for both national level and local city level has limited effects due to various objective factors.Based on the comparative study on the subsidy policies and enforcement regulations,this paper explores an efficient way for the policy implementation from the aspects of subsidy objects and mechanisms,subsidy time and magnitudes,subsidy manners,financing system and regulatory structure.It is advised to establish a comprehensive policy framework with long-tem stability on the consideration of EVs' contributions to society,economic and environment.
