This paper studied the major and trace elements and Sr-Nd isotopic dating of Mesozoic volcanic rocks from Duohemao area,in the Tongren County,Qinghai Province.These volcanic rocks are close to alkaline series,which belong to basalt.They have low SiO2(44.98%~48.20%),but have relatively high MgO(8.15%~10.98%),Cr(208×10-6~418×10-6) and Ni(166×10-6~231×10-6).All samples exhibit LREE-rich right-oriental pattern with weak Eu anomaly of(La/Yb)CN=10.09~27.2,(Gd/Yb)CN=2.92~4.67,Eu*/Eu = 0.99~1.04.On primitive mantle-normalized diagram,volcanic rocks show no depletion in Ba,Nb-Ta,Th-U and relative depletion in Rb,K and with positive Sr anomaly.These volcanic rocks have depletion Sr-Nd isotopic compositions[87Sr/86Sr(t)= 0.703 3~0.703 9,εNd(t)=6.13~8.03,t=110 Ma],analogous to Hawaii-OIB without significant crustal contamination.It is indicated that these volcanic rocks may be derived from lower degree partial melting of a garnet-bearing peridotite in response to lithospheric delamination/detachment during the upwelling of asthenosphere and extension of lithosphere.The study provides direct evidence for the lithospheric evolution in Qinling-Dubie orogenic belt.
