Analysis of Random Noise Frequency Modulation Signal's Bandwidth

As random noise radar has the properties of LPI,anti-radio frequency interference and good EMC,it is being paid wide attention. A sine wave which is frequency modulated by random noise is described,and its autocorrelation and power spectrum are analyzed in detail. The calculation of the random noise frequency modulation signal’s bandwidth under different condition is summarized through the theoretical analysis and computer simulation. Through the analysis of the bandwidth,its effects also are discussed on the range resolution and probability of interception. The simulation result shows that it is prone to realize big bandwidth for the random noise frequency modulation signal,and beneath wide band the signal can possess good resolution and low probability of interception.
