Research Progress on Corrosion Mechanism and Surface Protection Technology of Sintered NdFeB Permanent Magnets

The corrosion mechanism of NdFeB permanent magnetic material in different environments and recent research progress in the surface protection technology were systematically introduced. The present status of surface protective coating technology and existing problems in the technology application were analyzed. The development trend of surface protection technology for NdFeB permanent magnetic material was put forward.
