Ore Quantity Calculation Method Based on 3D Visualization Modeling Technology

Taking the Qiaopuka iron mine of Xinjiang as an example,the 3D visualization technology ore calculation method is researched based on RTK GPS measurement system,MapGIS,AutoCAD and3 DMine software. Firstly,the RTK GPS measurement system is adopted to conduct 3D precision positioning so as to obtain the ore boundaries of mining area. Then,according to the detailed survey of geological data,the orebody 3D model is established by adopting the MapGIS,AutoCAD,3DMine software to obtain the distribution situation and volume of orebody accurately to calculate the minable quantity. The research results show that,the ore quantity calculation method with the characteristics of high precision,quick and intuitive is superior to the classical methods.
