Neutron Activation Analysis of Pyrite Sample from Some Gold Deposit in Sichuan

The characteristics of trace elements in some pyrite from a good deposit in Sichuan were studied using neutron activation analysis method,and the relations between gold and other elements were analyzed.The studied and analyzed results provided guidance for the exploration of gold deposit.The research indicated that pyrite is a better gold carrier,so the accompanying elements of Au in Au-carried pyrite can be used to guide the ore-prospecting work.
