Effect of Cultivation Factors on the Yield and Quality of North Japonica Rice 11th Report: Effect of Nutrients on the Yield and Quality of Rice

YAN Guang-bin,LI Yan-li,JIA Yu-min,MENG Ling-jun,WANG Wan-cheng,NIU Hong-wei(Tonghua Research Academy of Agricultural Sciences,Meihekou Jilin 135007,China)
The experimental results in three years showed that nitrogen fertilizer was helpful to increase tillers and grains and had crucial effect on yield increase, but lowered rice quality;phosphorus fertilizer was able to accelerate nitrogen absorption and increase ripeness and yield, meanwhile raise milling rice rate and lower protein content;potassium fertilizer and magnesium fertilizer had no significant effect on grain yield increase, but had significant effect on quality improvement. The yield was the highest with an increasing by 6.3%,if nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizers were applied coordinately. If magnesium fertilizer was applied, the grain yield and quality would be enhanced simultaneously.
