The Application of Fuzzy Control in Pulp Consistency Control System

In the process of pulp consistency control, digital PID regulating will bring serious lag effect, because of the transmission lag, the actuator's inertia, especially the long sampling period of the moving blade consistency transmitter. It's difficult to achieve satisfactory result. In this paper, fuzzy regulating has such advantages as high control accuracy, quick response speed and good stability compared with PID regulating.
