Double predictive PI control for integrator plus time delay processes

A kind of double predictive PI (DPPI) controller for integrator plus time delay process is proposed. The proposed controller has the advantages of the simple structure, small number of tuning parameters, and the easily tuning method. Illustrative examples show the good performance and robust stability of DPPI controller under the disturbance and model-process mismatch, and the DPPI controller is suitable for practical application.
