Methods 108 cases of pleural effusions identified by pathologically, were studied. Results (1)There was a marker higher ADA level in tuberculous pleural effusions than in malignant pleural effusions. (2)Ratio of pleual lysozyme to serum lysozyme was also higher in tuberculous pleural effusions than that in malignant pleural effusions.
