Objective To evaluate the level of asthma control in 196 children and to explore the influencing factors of asthma control. Methods One cross-sectional study was conducted in 196 children with asthma in clinic of our hospital from January 2016 to January 2017. According to asthma control test, the control levels of asthma children were divided in to three levels: completely control, partly control and uncontrolled. Partly control and uncontrolled cases were merged into the incompletely control group. Results In the 196 cases, there were 131 cases( 67%) in the complete control group,54 cases in the partial control group( 28%),and 11 cases in the uncontrolled group( 5%). There was no significant difference in gender, residence, preterm birth, cesarean section, breast milk, eczema, food allergy and allergen avoidance, respiratory tract infection, family history of rhinitis, family history of asthma, nursing education, people living environment of damp, newly decoration, passive smoking, seasonal changes, exercise or obesity for asthma control level. Two logistic regression analysis showed that 4 factors related to the level of control, respectively included age( OR = 0. 275,P 0. 01,95% CI: 1. 890-6. 989),rhinitis( OR = 0. 275,P 0. 01,CI: 0. 039-0. 219 95%),inhalation skills( OR = 2. 877,P = 0. 001,95% CI: 1. 546-5. 353),and compliance( OR = 0. 092,P 0. 01,95% CI: 0. 046-0. 185). Conclusion Age,rhinitis, inhalation technique and compliance are the influencing factors of children asthma control.
