Evaluation on the therapeutic effects of CT-guided stereotaxic aspiration in hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage using Joseph grading system

AbstractCT-guided stereotaxic aspiration of intracerebral hematoma were performed in 38 cases of hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage,conservative therapies were carried out in 14 cases of the same disease as controls.Therapetitic effects were evaluated with Joseph grading system. Results showed that remarkable differences of scores existed in these two groups during admiassion and discharge.Scores in the postoperative stage of the aspiration group were remarkably higher than that in the preoperative stage(P0.001). The opportunity and indication of aspiration,postoperative treatment and prevention of complications are discussed.
