Ma Chunling; Zhang Xiqiang; Wang Faquan; et al(Department of Pathogenic Biology, Linyi Medical College,Linyi 276002)
Objective To study the effect of the composition of southern bupleurum on the immune functions of mice. Methods This experiment was carried out by using concanvalin A(ConA) to activate the spleen' S lymphocytes and belly' s macrophages and by assaying the lymphocyte transformation ability and the induced level of interleukin-2(IL-2) and tumor necrosis factor(TNF)to observe the effect of southern bupleurum on immune functions of mice. Results The Composition of southern bupleurum have up-regulating effects on the lymphocyte transformation ability and the induced level of IL-2 and TNF of mice, and there was a correlation between concentration and efficency. Conclusion Composition of Southern Bupleurum can help to improve the immune functions of mice.
