Diagnosis and Treatment of Ulnar Tunnel Syndrome

Objective To discuss the diagnosis and treatment of ulnar tunnel syndrome. Methods: 10 patients with ulnar nerve entrapment at wrist were operated on from 1995 to 2003. The clinical manifestations and surgical management of these cases were retrospectirly. Results: All patients were followed up from 5 months to 7 years and 3 months. They all got complete restoration or near normal recovery of sensation and motor function, with an excellent or good rate of 80%. Conclusion:The patients with clinical manifestations should be carefully examined, and operated as soon as the diagnosis is made.
