Fuzzy comprehensive evaluation for the capacity of civil aircraft cabin evacuation

With the high speed development of the aviation industry today,the civil aircraft accidents and serious incidents sometimes occur and it cannot be completely avoided.So it is necessary to evaluate the capacity of the civil aircraft cabin evacuation in order to reduce the injuries and deaths.Also aircraft cabin evacuation capability is an important aspect of safety management which has attracted more attention.Firstly,based on the qualitative analysis of the factors that associated with safety evacuation in the civil aircraft cabin,the index set of civil aircraft cabin evacuation capability are determined.Secondly,by the application of AHP,the weight of each index is obtained and then the multi-level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model and safety level model are set up.Finally,this method is applied to the actual case to evaluate the ability of a Chinese airline's cabin safety evacuation and the results are obtained.Through further analysis,some important aspects of the cabin evacuation ability are founded.Some useful advices to the civil aircraft cabin evacuation capability are propresed.It is also significant to improve the level of safety management for airlines.
