Research on Women's Status in the Family from the Relations between Husband an d Wife in the Tang Dynasty

The Tang Dynasty was the most open period of the feudal societies in China. Its opening-characteristics not only displayed on the aspect of the domestic affairs and diplomatic policies, but also vividly and concretely reflected from the relations between husband and wife. The opening relations between husband and wife, as well as husband's respect for his wife 's personality and tolerance of his wife's behavior, all had active function for improving women's status in the family in the Tang Dynasty.
