Tocqueville on Modern Politics and Religion

The relationship between politics and religion is complex in the modernization process.Tocqueville,after studying the contemporary situations in Prance and America,points out that these two are not conflicting each other,but rather complementary and co-existent.His discussion of this relationship is of great significance to the modernization process undertaken by China today.
