[Objective]To study the characteristic distribution of particles with aerodynamic diameter less than 10μm(PM_(10)) from different sources.[Methods]Particle samples were collected from kitchens,smoking-rooms,roadside and communities and then analyzed by air particle spectrometer(ASP-3321).[Results]The number of collected particles of 2~5μm in diameter in the cigarette smoking group was 492 per minute, whereas those in kitchen, roadside and community groups were 428,279 and 156 per minute respectively.[Conclusion]We speculate that the effect of particles with an aerodynamic diameter between 2 and 5μm would not be ignored.
