Determination of Five Metal Elements in Salvia Miltiorrhiza by AAS and AFS

The sample of salvia miltiorrhiza was digested with a mixed solution of conc.HNO3 and H2O2(5+1).Under optimized working conditions of the instrument,the content of Cu in the sample solution was determined by FAAS,Pb and Cd were determined by GFAAS,and As and Hg were determined by HG-AFS.Values of RSD′s(n=10) found for Cu,Pb,Cd,As and Hg were all less than 3.0%.Test for recovery was made by standard addition method,giving values of recovery in the range of 90.0%-110.0%.
