The Slice Processing Research of the Cell Entity Examined Image on the Board End Faces

In view of the problem of nondestructively examining the assortment of board which needs to be solvedurgently in wood industry, this paper put forward a new method and research direction that the assortment of board isrecognized by the examined image of the cell entity on the board end faces according to computer image processingtechniques and the characteristics which the image of cell on the board end faces can be conveniently shown and easilyexamined. This method provided the theory basis for establishing the mathematical model for the recognition of thewood’s geometry parameter and the new theory research direction for identifying the assortment of board scientificallyand industrially.
