The Origin and Evolvement of "Meteor Hammer

This article analyses and approaches comprehensively the origin and historical development of “meteor hammer” based on a number of materials and records. “Meteor hammer” originated from the hunting tool “rope stone” in the Paleolithic Age of primitive society. In the middle and latter part of Neolithic Age, it began to be used in martial arts and war gradually which had made it “meteor hammer” in a real sense. In Ming and Qing dynasties which were the heyday of martial arts, the set routines of “meteor hammer” had matured and developed greatly.
