ZHANG Kai~1 LOU Dejun~2 PAN Jing~1 WANG Ji~3 MIAO Chuanhai~1(1.Liaoning Specialized Meteorological Observatory,Shenyang 110016;2.Qiqihaer MeteorologicalBureau,Qiqihaer 161006;3.Department of Geography,Nanjing University ofInformation Science and Technology,Nanjing 210044)
Based on mean daily temperature and precipitation data from 1957 to 2000 in Shenyang area, the general characteristics and trends of temperature and precipitation variations were analyzed with linear trend analysis,Mann-Kendall break detector and Morlet wavelet transform method.Furthermore, their variation characteristics were discussed with the extreme temperature index and the extreme precipitation index. The results indicated that temperature showed a significant upward trend in Shenyang area during recent 44 years. And temperature variation had obviously abrupt change. The time of abrupt change was from 1981 to 1982.Precipitation showed a fluctuant downtrend, while intensity and frequency of extreme precipitation events were increasing since 1980s.
