Sinus arrest secondary to hyperthyroidism treated with implantable pacemaker:Two case reports

Hyperthyroidism always leads to arrhythmias,the rarest example of which is sinus arrest.Sinus arrest secondary to hyperthyroidism is a formidable problem for no consensus on the treatment.Here,we describe two cases of patients with hyperthyroidism complaining of syncope and dizziness due to sinus arrest.By aid of implantable pacemaker,a device regarded as providing most effective therapy for bradycardia,we totally resolved their discomforts.
