PDEP S Design Concept of Low Aspect Ratio Radial Passenger Tire

He Xiaomei, Liu Tianchen and Wu Guizhong (Beijing Research and Design Institute of Rubber Industry 100039)  
The PDEP S design concept is developed on the basis of the PDEP design concept. The tire design is optimized further and the tire performance is improved with PDEP S. PDEP S is different from PDEP in that the prestress of tire is combined with the dynamically equilibrium contour by using the PDEP S design concept, and the pressure shares in belt, carcass and bead area are adequately considered to make them work perfectly resulting in optimized contour and improved performance.
