Image Compression Encoding Based on Statical Partitioning

Wang Liangshen ;Wu Keqin (Mechanical Department, Liaoyang Petrochemical College, Liaoyang 111003 )  
This paper described a new compression method based on statical partitioning. According to the relation between the linked pixels, an image may be divided into many partitions(2 ×2). Then encoding can be made with the combination of middle value filter and RLE, which may weaken the noise influence and get a good effect of image compression.
